STEAM FOR THE LAUNDRY BUSINESS

For their laundry operation at Alingsas, PetroBio converted the existing steam boiler from a fuel oil to a wood pellet fired combustion system. The scope included fuel reception for the wood pellets, a milling and wood powder dosing system and a new powder burner with control system.

The load of the plant is volatile, therefor, fast response of the load is required. The produced steam is used for the heating and drying process of the laundry. This compact installation was installed and commissioned in less than six months!
