The Högdalen plant is a waste to energy district heat plant burning houshold and industrial waste. The Martin GmBH boiler has a capacity to burn 20,5 tons per hour of waste producing superheated steam @400OC and 36 bar.

WASTE TO ENERGY, STEAM & POWER

The steam will power a turbine generating electricity and the residule energy is used for district heating. Due to space limitations the PetroBio burner solution with compact duel fuel burners was a perfect solution.

PetroBio delivered two 16 MW duel fuel burners that are start up and load burners for starting up the initial fire and load burner to always keep the combustion temperature above 850OC to guarantee a clean combustion. The duel fuel option will allow the plant to use renewable Bio-Oil instead of the fossil Light Fuel Oil.
